AP-1 & AP-2 cleaning primer alcohol solutions are designed to improve the adhesion strength, when used on most bare metal surfaces such as; aluminum, stainless steel and cold rolled steel. Even though several Acralock adhesives are designed to provide excellent metal bonding performance, using AP-1 or AP-2 will serve dual purposes; to clean the metals by removing most contamination and chemically preparing the bare metal for bonding. The proprietary polymer and alcohol solution when wiped over the metal, leaves a dull very thin film of polymer, which will improve the adhesion to bare metals. Not to be used on coated, painted or other substrates. Packaging options include 500ml bottles and 5 gallon containers.
